Thread Painting Deck of Cards Quilt

Part quilt, part fiber art, this one-of-a-kind piece is all about the details.

Thread Painting Deck of Cards is a one-of-a-kind handmade quilt featuring playing-card imagery accented with purple, green, gray, and red poppies. The unusual design makes it especially striking as a wall hanging or decorative art quilt.

Measuring approximately 39 × 60 inches, its long, narrow shape makes it well suited for displaying on a wall, although it can also be draped over a chair or used as a decorative accent.

Made with 100% cotton fabrics and custom thread painted by me in my quilting studio. Thread painting uses extremely dense stitching, with stitches placed so closely together that the thread nearly covers the fabric beneath it, creating color, texture, and detail much like painting with thread.

Care: Machine wash cold and tumble dry low.

Planning to display it on a wall? Let me know when ordering and I can add a hanging sleeve to the back before shipping.
